An always-on Q&A layer for your students. Speaks in your voice. Points them to the lecture and timestamp they need instead of making them scroll for it. The course is gold. The wraparound is where the gold leaks out. The working version's live. We think there's a much bigger business underneath, and we'd like 30 minutes to talk through it.
My wife Brioni and I bought Perfect Puppy for our puppy Pepper. I sat in on most of it. The method works on a real dog, I watched it. The content's there. What didn't work for me was everything around it.
Three things kept tripping me up, all related, all the same shape.
And when I couldn't find what I needed, I did what every other lost student does. I went to the group. The group's answer wasn't your method, it was food bribes and distraction and "go with your instincts" from other paying customers who didn't know any better. That isn't a problem with the community. It's a symptom of students being lost. When the course can't tell them, someone will. And it usually isn't you.
I wasn't an edge case. For owners who don't retain that kind of detail well, and that's most of us at the puppy stage, the wraparound is where it falls down. The content's great. The retrieval kills it. It's overwhelming, and it kills momentum at exactly the wrong moment.
That's the personal bit. I run N-Zyte. We build AI platforms for businesses. So when I saw the gap, we had the tools to do something about it. So we did. The result is the working version at ask-will.vercel.app, plus the analysis behind it.
I think we could really help. Our approach together would add huge value to your customers, and I'm one of them. This is the product I wish I'd had when we were going through the course. This letter is the case for building it out together.
I wondered if my experience was just mine. So we went looking. The numbers came back and showed it wasn't. Things are actually much worse than I knew.
This course definitely isn't for everybody. I would back off from the exercise and go back to breeder and vet recommendations. Maybe go a bit more with your own instincts.A paying student inside your buyer-only group, advising another paying student to abandon the method
It's the modal advice pattern in the community. Underneath it, four places we looked, four findings.
This was an initial trawl with the access we have today. Brioni's a paying member of Puppy Club, which is how we have visibility into the buyer-only community. With access to your full content library, your other community channels, and your retention data, we could extend this work significantly. Happy to walk through the raw findings on a call.
Plain English version. Your student types a question. The system answers in your voice. Then it tells them which lecture you covered it in, with the timestamp. They get back to the answer in your words without scrolling through 47 minutes of video to find the bit they needed.
That's the user experience. The working version is live at ask-will.vercel.app. 135 of 139 of your published Perfect Puppy lectures are loaded in. Voice and tone trained on your YouTube and IG. Below is an actual answer pulled from the live demo, with citations linking out to the lectures it came from.
Every answer cites the lecture and timestamp it came from. That's a guardrail, not a feature. The model can't answer anything that doesn't trace back to your own teaching. If it doesn't know, it tells the student it doesn't know and points them at the closest related lecture. The difference between an assistant that genuinely helps your students and one that makes things up.
Honest about scope. What you can use today is a proof of concept, not a production system. The voice match holds. The retrieval works. The cite-and-trace holds. What it doesn't have yet: logging in through Teachable so only paid students can use it, the analytics layer, the bit that picks up new lectures as you ship them, the guardrails for when students try to mess with it, and the broader content (your full YouTube archive, IG, podcast appearances). All of that comes after we agree to build this out together.
The chat is the front door. The Platform underneath is where the real value sits.
Every question your students ask is a data point. Stack them up at scale and they become a retention engine. The Platform is the chat surface for your students, plus the analytics layer for you. Five things it surfaces that you can't see today.
Translate the analytics into what they actually mean for your business. You see how your teaching is landing. You see students reacting before they tell you. You know what to build next without guessing. Every cohort makes the product better. And students stay longer because the service finally matches what they paid for.
And here's the strategic part. Ask Will is the thing that finally gives Circle a reason to exist.
You moved your community to Circle in March. The bulk of the conversation is still happening on Facebook. Circle has nothing the FB group doesn't have, so members haven't followed. Members are still getting the wrong advice from each other on Facebook, on a platform Meta owns. Your own community surface is sitting empty.
Ask Will fixes that. Because it's gated to paid members, it lives only on Circle. Suddenly Circle has something Facebook can't match. Members migrate because the AI answers their questions instantly, in your voice, with citations to the lectures they paid for. The wasted question data starts flowing into your intelligence layer, not Meta's. You finally own your audience instead of renting it.
The part that matters more than the chat or the analytics on their own. This compounds. The longer it runs, the more useful it is, the harder it is to replicate.
None of this is just in the chat. It's in the Platform behind it. The chat is the door. The Platform is the business. That's why building this out together compounds harder than buying an off-the-shelf AI tool. The off-shelf tool ships and then sits still. The Platform gains value every day after it ships.
The chat and the analytics are chapter one. The reason building this out together pays off is what it opens up beyond that. None of this is pricing. None of it is committing. It's a sketch of what the Platform we'd build first makes possible.
All of this lives downstream of the same Platform we'd build first. We're not pricing any of it, not committing to any of it, definitely not asking you to. The point is the foundation isn't just the chat. The chat's the door. The rest is what's on the other side of it.
Honest version. Me and my wife are paying customers of your program, and we happen to run an AI platform business. Unusual position to pitch from. We thought we'd lean into it rather than pretend otherwise.
N-Zyte builds AI platforms for businesses. Discovery, enrichment, analytics, outreach, retention. We've built systems exactly like this for other clients, including the compounding intelligence layer, the flywheel iteration loop, and the cross-channel analytics you'd be getting here.
The kind of work that gets brittle fast if you build it badly and stays standing for years if you build it right. We've spent enough time getting it right that you don't have to learn the hard way.
The thing that matters most though. We're inside your world as customers, not outside it as builders parachuting in. Me and my wife are paying Perfect Puppy customers. Pepper's been through your method. We know what works in your course and we know exactly where the wraparound stops working. That's the angle a typical agency can't bring, no matter how much they charge.
We're not asking you to sign anything. We're asking for 30 minutes to walk you through what we've built, what we found, and what the partnership could look like if both sides like the shape of it. There's a real business here for both of us. We'd rather build it with you than try to sell it to you.
Either way, the demo stays up. Share it with your team if useful. If this isn't for you, reply with a no and we'll get out of your way. Nothing to lose on this end, everything to gain on both ends if it lands.
No clock on this. We're not chasing.
